Description: On the 9th of May, 2023, our school observed the auspicious celebration of Rabindranath Tagore's birthday (Rabindra Jayanti). Senior School, Middle School and Junior school students participated in the programme under the guidance and leadership of Mrs. D. Roy, Mrs. P. Panja and Mrs. A. Mondol. The programme opened with a prayer service, and included distinctive takes on his magnificent pieces. Girls spoke on his innumerable lifetime achievements and his inspiring personality followed by a dramatization of his moral story 'Sparshamani by the class 8s. Students of classes 6, 7, 9, 10, and 12 presented graceful dances on his songs about his love for nature, and we were graced by a melodious rendition of Tagore's 'Hey nuton' for the closing ceremony. The audience was enthralled with the performance and applauded our elegance and hardwork. Our principal, Ma'am Jessica Gomes Surana, sponsored the vote of gratitude on behalf of the Senior and Middle School and Mrs.Agarwal on behalf of the Junior School, they both lauded the whole team for their dedication. The day came to a close with a lesson in a vivid, diverse and undying culture.
