Description: On 11 July 2025, a highly enriching and informative First Aid Workshop was conducted by the NGO: Doctors for a Cause—an organization run by three dynamic young doctors passionate about spreading medical awareness across India. The workshop was engaging and informative, using PowerPoint presentations, video demonstrations, and most importantly, live hands on training.The doctors explained how to remain calm during emergencies, stressing that panicking can worsen situations. Students learned how to respond to common emergencies like animal bites, choking, and concussions. A detailed demonstration of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) was given using a silicon dummy, and we were also taught how to assist someone who is choking, how to use a first aid kit, the importance of spinal immobilisation, and how to identify the need for basic life support. This workshop was more than just a lesson in first aid—it was a powerful reminder that anyone can be a lifesaver with the right training. Through clear explanations and hands-on learning, the young doctors inspired us to respond with courage, stay composed under pressure, and most importantly, to help without hesitation.
