Description: The JPIC unit of LER organized a special assembly on the occasion of World Earth Day which is celebrated on 22nd April every year. The assembly focused on our beautiful planet which might become a figment of imagination if we do not take care of it. It hoped to create an awareness of how the human species have been exploiting the resources continuously and its time we make due ammendments.The assembly also suggested certain practical solutions which we as a responsible species can do to save Mother Earth for our prosperity. The assembly Started with a beautiful Dance 'anjanoghono kunjochayay' followed by a beautiful hindi poem and prayer song ' Akash bhora Surjo Tara'. For the assembly girls had prepared handmade cards and charts on Earth Day.
